Installation of a new 2km shared footpath and cyclepath (River Birket Trial)

The construction of a shared bituminous footpath and cycleway adjacent to the Birket between Reeds Lane and Oxley Avenue and a shared gritstone footpath and cycleway between Oxley Avenue and Scoresby Road. This was a 12 week project  which provided a continuous route for pedestrians and cyclists between Reeds Lane, Leasowe and Scoresby Road, Leasowe. Cambrianway were able to successfully complete the project 4 weeks ahead of programme despite difficult working conditions (works were within close proximity to a watercourse).
